Thank God I Had My Art is a piece that I wrote for the Rainbow Theater Festival @ The Bread & Water Theater in Rochester, NY. Click on the image to read the short piece and as always feel free to leave feedback. At The March is a play about activism, the glbt community and the effects of oppression. Taking place at a marriage equality march, the story shows that the bisexual community is a varied bunch and not the shallow image the media portrays them as. I'd love to see Avenue Q. Furry Puppets + Good Music = Good times in my world. I once saw The Blue Man Group before they got really big and the show was fantastic. I'd love to see them again and to see how the show changed.

I'm curious about Wicked because it plays with the idea that "Good and Bad" isn't always so black and white, but rather gray. I also like plays (books, movies etc..) that look into why a situation is the way it is. The Lion King for the music and costume alone looks pretty amazing. I've already seen the movie and I am not sure how much it follows the movie, or if like Wicked it explores other subplots (which would be nice), but overall, looks good. I'd like to see pretty much any Cirque Du Soleil show. I've seen some of their work on PBS and .. wow! It always blows me away. I love The Beatles so I really can't imagination the combination of the two being anything less then awesome. Into The Woods is one I have actually seen (though not live. They filmed a performance as is and i've seen it a number of times.) The play combines a wide variety of common fairytales, combines them and then throws in a good dose of consequence. Plus you have Sondheim, so yay for that.
