For The Love of Fantasy is a peculiar story about free will and fantasy. Moses & The Beautiful Life is a story about a man obsessed with consequences, and the consequences of being obsessed. Being John Malkovich is one of those movies that you can watch a zillion times and it never gets old. It brings up such topics as soul, gender, love vs obsession, relationships and sexuality in such a brillant way. The Witches of Eastwick if you think about is a tale of women discovering their true power (on multiple levels). Jack Nicholson makes a great devil. A movie about feminism? possibly. Or just a great movie about 3 witches in a small town in New England.

The Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind is a movie about people who broke up with their girlfriend/boyfriends and because the heartache was so great, they chose in that moment to literally have the memories of this person erased. Is this really the answer? Is Science really stronger then the human mind?

Rocky Horror Picture Show is a cult classic that I have seen too many times to count. It's about a mad scientist/genius/transvetite from Translyvania named Frank N Furter who comes to earth and causes much fun and chaos. Lately, I am bit turned off by how the topic of female sexuality is more of a side note, but still a great cult film and musical.

Cabaret is yet another movie that I've seen over and over and still love it. When I was younger I love the fantastic escape aspect of it, now that I am older that aspect kind of bugs me because the Nazi Regime is rising up and they are pretty much ignoring reality (though I think that was going on way before the Nazi's) That being said, that The Kit Kat Club was doing numbers that were rather radical for that time. Great songs, great dancing, great musical.

I have realized that I like too many movies to narrow them done to just my top 5 movies (and the featured movies aren't even my top 5, just the first 5 movies that came to mind that I have seen over and over again.) So, here is a master list (to be updated) of 5 star movies.
