FLOWER'S REVENGE (character monologue) a bee, a wasp a bug that stings trapped itself in my window screen I could hear it's struggling I could hear it's screams just like the day it attacked me so I dared not come close and so to... to give it a hand? I dare not come closer for what? so it may sting me again? you know how bees are you know how bees may get well, the high noon sun tried frying it my caretaker just shrieked as she flew out the door I, on the other hand I remained still and I watched it and I studied it and I looked it down struggling with it's winged self and I closed the window's glass as I watched it cry out- GASP- for air! by the time it died or so I thought it's body resembled a raisin. What humor I found starring at it's shriveled purpled blackened form. it seemed so powerless in it's state of life ha! or in this case lack of- I thought of his family and how they might avenge follow the scent- plot my demise plan their revenge and I dreamed of swarms of yellow blackened bees but when I awoke from my very dream they were no where to be seen and I looked out my window to see it's .... mortal remains and I asked myself was I too cruel was I inhumane? to take revenge well you tell me you know how bees are you know how bees may get... but... what's this what's this? how can it be? this bee! this bee! maybe it's me? that crawls about my window screen it's body supple, yellow and black it seems but how that it is back the horror! the torment! the memory of the trampled petals "dear mother of god I can never open my window again!"
