Songs
From The Bluenote
The sophmore album from The Velvetland Band, takes on a more professional
sound (thanks to a software donation by Cryo114). An odd mixture
of Jazz, Classical, Piss & Vinegar, The full album (completed
in April 2006) can be heard in it's entirety by clicking on the
cover. |

Are
You Anti-Bellum? The
third album from The Velvetland Band created completly in FL Studio,
starts where Songs from The Bluenote left off. An exploration
in "dance" music and emotion, the full album (completed
in May 2006) can be heard in it's entirety by clicking on the album
cover. |

Anarchy
4Eva
Back with classical, jazz, dance, and emotional/musical expression
and experimentation, the 4th album flip flops between the awkard,
the mellow, the hyper, the defiant and the sad. Completed in July
2006, Anarchy 4eva just may be the band's strangest yet. |

Geek
Power
This 5th album from The Velvetland
Band, documents their love affair with the lovely Mandolin,
as they experiment with different sounds (think country mixed with
asian, dance and the occasional funk influences). |

ES,
The mysterious 6th Album from The
Velvetland Band was actually created in 2007-2008, although it was
not released till 2009. Experimental in nature, the album
was a response to a friend who said the band's songs lacked structure.
Some of the songs were damaged when the VLB computer crashed :( |

Dance
Big Fonte, Dance!
is the 7th album from The Velvetland Band. Continuing with the
theme of structure from The ES album, Dance Big Fonte, Dance was
also created with the intention of writing a piece of music intended
for the theater/stage. It was also inspired by the beginning and
demise of a love affair. |

Rude
To Stare
is the 8th album from The Velvetland Band. Written over a 6
month period, Rude To Stare was originally inspired by a rather
heavy and transitional period of departures, changes, and emotions.
The music is a mix of drum n' bass and jazz/classical.
